Jenny Loughmiller

Jenny Loughmiller uniquely combines art and gratitude in way that communicates warmth and connection between the art and its viewer. Jenny unintentionally launched her art career in 2016 when she began what was later named The Hundred Hearts Project - 100 heart-themed paintings for 100 women who had touched her life in some way. What began as a personal art and gratitude challenge launched into a national project that has since rippled a wave of gratitude touching thousands of lives.

Jenny works primarily with acrylic and collage in an intuitive way. "When I sit down to paint I try to get out of the way of creativity and just let the colors and patterns and textures flow through me. I am often surprised by what I end up painting. Connecting my art practice to gratitude helps me see the wonder in every day life. So far I can always find something to be grateful for - even on the really hard days. Art helps me see the beauty in the world around me...and that's where gratitude begins.” Learn more at jennyloughmiller.com.
